ABOUT ME
I am Haolun, a game composer and game designer. Currently, I am studying at U of U, majoring in games and minoring in Music Technology. It is well known that a good game cannot be separated from music. I like to use music to give the game soul, and I am keen to explore how music can be deeply integrated with narrative, mechanism, level design and other aspects in the game. In my opinion, good game music is not only the background, but also the core element to promote the game experience.
I have high musical attainments, especially in piano playing. I studied piano under many famous teachers in the Chinese music industry. I have 17 years of piano playing experience and rich musical knowledge. I have won many awards and have extremely high standards and achievements in piano, composition, music theory and other music-related aspects.
In past projects, I have produced music for many games and animations, including team projects, animations, personal projects, and original music.
I like writing, and composing music for my own writing is the most intoxicating part for me - only the person who created this story can create the most suitable music for this story. At the same time, I also enjoy playing games and listening to music - especially, I will play the game specifically for the good game music.
Currently, I am focusing on expanding my ability in game music, enhancing my understanding of game design, working on creating a more immersive game sound experience, and also working on being a better version of myself.
